Ramalatha approached the Chennai Family Court on Oct 4 insistent to direct her husband not to leave her. And she requests the court reunion with her husband. And the court issued notices to Prabhu Deva and Nayantara on Wednesday, Oct 6. Undertaking all legal procedures to fight Prabhu Deva-Nayanthara marriage, Ramlatha has succeeded in staying the marriage at the court.The family court ruled against the marriage and summoned both Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara to attend the court on October 19, 2010. Ramlatha accuses Naynthara of taking Prabhu Deva away. She also moved the court to not let them be seen in public together and take photographs.
Ramalatha said her family was dependent upon Prabhu Deva for survival, and that he had stopped meeting even the monthly expenses. The matter has been posted for October 19. Married in 1995, Prabhu Deva and Latha have two children.
